Letters are beautiful. Written, sealed, short, unfinished, medium-rare, received, half-read, lost, in-mid-flight, returned?

So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
- Isaiah 55:11

Chuck Girard - Name Above All Names

Best album I have on vinyl.

Who would have thought they were proclaiming Jesus’ return in the 80’s. I mean, how exciting is that! We can say for sure that we are closer now to the coming of Jesus Christ as the lion than they were back then. How much more! We should be running with so much more fever and focus than ever before. Momentum. Increasing at an increasing rate.

Hallelujah dot points

hmmm well lots has happened so far this year. I like dot points so I’ll do that:

  • Got a job at a chinese restaurant. Yum! Saved some money (hooray) but lost that job because I neglected to tell them I couldn’t work for 3 weeks while going to…
  • PNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh! I loved it. I can’t wait to go back to Tauruba village!
  • my gosh. everything else just seems so insignificant compared to what went on as we walked from village to village in Pupua New Ginea loving people: seeing children, mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, grandparents being healed and set free!
  • Moved out of home to a lovely little farm cottage where I can watch the sunset from my bed :) Working a lot (lots of free bakery food = need to go for a run to get rid of it all!) Frinny, man, she’s so cool. We love Jesus.
  •  See, PNG was just tops all the events in my life. I’d LOVE to answer any questions about the trip, I’ll be posting some stories about what happened in the near future (hopefully) and possibly also some photos.
  • Oh and on Saturday it’s my Nan and Pop’s 50th wedding anniversary! Praise the Lord!
  • Alright, I’m going to turn off my computer now, listen to the worship tape (yes, tape) I was given in Tauruba (my favourite song is ‘Rakana Okalani’ - I don’t know what the translation is for that but the chorus starts off with veula veni which means lovely. I’m guessing it’s about how lovely our Jesus is, because I know he is lovely.)
  • Remember you are blessed!

You Won’t Relent by Misty Edwards

I’ll set You as a seal upon my heart
As a seal upon my arm
For there is love that is as strong as death
Jealousy demanding as the grave
Many waters cannot quench this love
